Kenyon Youngstrom, Rest in Peace

You've probably heard by now, of the tragic death of Officer Kenyon Youngstrom in Walnut Creek. He was 37-years young, responding to a routine traffic stop, when the driver shot him. My heart goes out to his family--his wife, children, mother, and extended family--as they only begin to cope with this loss.

Kenyon was remembered as a happy, giving man. He continues to give even today: through his donated organs, at least eight lives were saved. This is just a piece of his legacy.

In the face of this great loss, it is encouraging to see the support for Officer Youngstrom's family. In response to generous inquiries, Wells Fargo Bank has set up a donation account. Interested parties can stop by any Wells Fargo branch to make a donation to the "Kenyon M. Youngstrom Memorial Fund".

Youngstrom family, our thoughts and prayers are with you.
